Fuelling Ambition Roadshow

Fuelling Ambition Roadshow #Stepstosuccess

LEONW

Enterprise Ireland and Network Ireland in collaboration with the Leo Enterprise Offices have joined forces to organise nationwide Roadshows targeting female entrepreneurs. The "Fuelling Ambition" Roadshows will encourage female entrepreneurs, or those considering starting their own business, to be braver and more ambitious in their plans for growth and success. The objective is to encourage and support female entrepreneurs to maximise their full potential on the road to business success. In 2016 The Fuelling Ambition roadshows which were held in 6 city locations were a great success. This year we would like to build on the success of last year and reach out to even a greater number of ambitious females who would like to start, grow and scale their companies.

In 2017 The Fuelling Ambition Roadshow will visit 7 regional locations across Ireland (Wicklow, Kilkenny, Limerick, Castlebar, Sligo, Cavan, Portlaoise)

The theme of the 2017 roadshow is “Steps to Success”. We will invite a female entrepreneur to each event who will share her entrepreneurship journey with the audience. To make the events more attractive to ambitious females we will be running an elevator panel competition at each of the locations. Up to 10 budding female entrepreneurs will then take to the stage to deliver a 1 minute elevator pitch. The prize in each location will be the coveted Best Pitch title, along with a Network Ireland yearly membership, 10 mentor sessions courtesy of Enterprise Ireland and also access to one of Enterprise Ireland’s business workshops.

Representatives from Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices will also be on hand to discuss the wide range of supports available to female entrepreneurs, and those thinking of starting their own businesses.
